Raul Midón is a singer full of raw passion and his songs are delivered quietly but with powerful emotion in every note. It’s easy to hear the Latin influences in his work but on “State Of Mind”, the virtuoso shows that he is adept at soul, jazz and folk too. Midón gets a hand from Stevie Wonder on the new album and was an integral party of dance music legend Louie Vega’s beautiful “Elements Of Life” album.
