Aquariva by Marc Newson
In a highly anticipated collaboration, Marc Newson has partnered with Riva and their official designers, Officina Italiana Design, to reinterpret the Aquariva speedboat. Aquariva by Marc Newson will be launched as a limited edition of 22 units in September 2010, available worldwide through Gagosian Gallery.
Hot Chip -vokalisti Alexis Taylor dj-keikalle Helsinkiin
Hot Chipin vokalisti ja keulahahmo Alexis Taylor saapuu alkusyksystä Helsinkiin. Ensimmäistä kertaa Suomessa vieraileva brittiartisti soittaa dj-keikan Club YK:ssa 31. elokuuta. Neljä albumia julkaissut Hot Chip on jo vuosia kuulunut elektropopin suosituimpiin yhtyeisiin. Lukuisista hittibiiseistään, kuten “Over and Over”, “Boy from School”, “Ready for the Floor” ja “One Life Stand”, tunnettu yhtye on kerännyt mainetta myös kymmenillä remiksauksillaan ja kiertueillaan esimerkiksi LCD Soundsystemin ja The XX:n kanssa.

Treehotel
Treehotel is a new eco based design hotel concept, with rooms high above the ground in pines, drawn by Sweden’s best architects. Treehotel is located in Harads, Sweden about 60 km south of the Arctic Circle. In first generation there are four uniquely themed Tree Houses, created by 4 separate architects. The rooms will vary from 15-30 square meters, range between 4-6 meters from the ground and build mainly with wood, though one room has a glass facade. The Tree Hotel will be open all year round, which means their guests will be able to benefit from either of the lovely hot summer or the beautiful winters.

Suurten ikäpolvien kiihkein kotiseutunostalgia raikaa rajantakaisen Karjalan suomalaiskyliin ja Kannaksen mannuille. Yonan aistikas versiointi Annikki Tähden Muistatko Monrepos’nista avaa pelin. Takaisin Karjalan maille pitkäsoitto ilmestyy syyskuussa. Tällaisilla bassotaajuuksilla eivät entisajan savikiekot myllänneet.
